Never Not Human:
AI AND OUR INDUSTRY

Because we're human first.
THE NEVER NOT HUMAN PROJECT
We're living through one of the most significant technological shifts in our lifetime—and let's be honest, it's been like drinking from a fire hose while riding a unicycle. AI isn't just changing how we work; it's reshaping entire industries, redefining roles, and creating new possibilities that sound like science fiction but are definitely showing up in your Slack notifications.
But here's what's missing from most conversations: how you're actually handling all this. Are you thriving? Surviving? Questioning your life choices? Or is AI the jetpack you've been waiting for all your life?
Here you'll find our research into the effects AI is having on our mental health, industry-first research and views, opinions and advice on where we go next.
THE RESEARCH
More than 200 of our community shared their views, frustrations and tribulations on their experiences with AI tools and workflows.

WHAT DID WE FIND?
- AI has intensified our feelings of job insecurity.
- 35-44 year olds are the heaviest users of AI. Only 17% of 18-24 year olds use AI daily.
- Those who had NOT experienced burnout were more likely to be using AI every day.
- 58% have experimented with AI and have found it to be useful.
- Only 44% always or usually disclose AI usage in their work.
- AI is being used effectively at multiple steps in the creative process, particularly during pitching and ideation.
